The Royal Veil Body Chain is built from layered strands that cross at the waist, forming a soft V where they meet. In gold-tone and silver-tone.

The Look

The crossing point is what makes this one. Clean strands run from the neckline and meet in a soft V, which gives a plain outfit a shape it did not have before. It reads structured rather than decorative, and it can be turned round so the crossing falls down your back instead.

How to style it

  • Deep-neck jumpsuit — the strongest pairing, since the V follows the neckline.
  • Plain gown — the crossing gives a simple shape a focal point.
  • Saree with a deep-neck blouse — clean lines against traditional drape.
  • Worn backwards with an open-back dress — the V sits at the base of the spine.
  • Evening events — quietly striking rather than loud.

Keep the neckline clear and let the crossing be the detail.

Sizing and fit

This is a free size body chain suitable for all body types, with extra chain already attached.

How to put it on

  1. Open both hooks — one on the neck chain, one on the waist chain.
  2. Fasten the neck chain first, the same way you would a necklace.
  3. Bring the waist chain around and fasten it behind you, with the crossing point centred at the front.
  4. Let the strands settle on their own rather than arranging them by hand.

To wear it as a back chain, put it on the same way with the crossing facing backwards. Put it on last, after clothes, perfume and skincare.

Care

  • Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wear.
  • Keep away from perfume, lotion, hairspray and water.
  • Store it in its own pouch so the strands cannot tangle with other jewellery.
  • Last thing on, first thing off.

Plated fashion jewellery may change finish over time with wear, storage, moisture and skin chemistry. This is normal rather than a fault.

Can it be worn as a back chain?

Yes. Put it on the same way with the crossing facing backwards and the V sits at the base of the spine — two looks from one piece.

Where should the crossing point sit?

Centred at the front, at the waist. If it drifts to one side, just reposition it once you are dressed.

How do you put on a body chain?

Open both hooks. Fasten the neck chain first, exactly like a necklace, then bring the waist chain around and fasten it behind you.

Is the waist hook difficult to fasten on my own?

Not at all — it sits at the back like a dress fastening, and most people manage it in a few seconds once they have worn it once.

My body chain is tangled. How do I fix it?

Unhook it first — that is the step that matters most. Then hang it up by the neck chain, from a hanger or a door hook, and let it hang freely. The weight of the chain does the work and the strands separate on their own. You can also put it on and let it untangle as it settles. Never pull the strands apart.

What size is it? Will it fit me?

It is free size and fits all body types, with extra chain already attached.

What neckline does it work with?

An open one — a deep neck, a jumpsuit or a plain dress — so the crossing has room to show.

Can I wear it with a saree?

Yes, with a deep-neck blouse. Clean crossing strands read modern against a traditional drape.

Is this a good first body chain?

Yes. At 21 gms it is light, it fastens like a necklace, and the crossing gives it a shape that makes it feel designed rather than plain.

Is it heavy?

It weighs 21 gms — light enough to wear through a long evening without adjusting it.

What is it made of?

Alloy-based fashion jewellery with a protective plating, in a gold-tone or silver-tone finish. Fashion jewellery rather than fine jewellery.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

It is alloy-based fashion jewellery and suits most skin types. We have not had skin-reaction complaints on this range. If you have sensitive skin, wear it for a short period first.
