The Look

The fuller of our two coastal back chains, and the one built for the beach. More chain across the back means the charms have room to spread, which reads beautifully over a backless swimsuit. It fastens at the neck and again at the waist, so it stays flat against your back as you move. Turn it round and the charms fall down the front instead.

Sizing and fit

This is a free size back chain suitable for all body types, with extra chain already attached.

How to put it on

Open both hooks — one on the neck chain, one on the waist chain.
Fasten the neck chain first, the same way you would a necklace.
Bring the waist chain around and fasten it behind you, with the charms centred down your back.
Let the chain settle on its own rather than pulling it into position.

To wear it at the front, put it on the same way with the charms facing forward. Put it on last, after clothes, perfume and skincare.

Care

Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wear.
Keep away from perfume, lotion, sunscreen, hairspray and water.
Keep it in the box it came in, so the charms cannot catch on other jewellery.
Last thing on, first thing off — after sunscreen has fully dried.

Plated fashion jewellery may change finish over time with wear, storage, moisture and skin chemistry. This is normal rather than a fault.

Why does it fasten at the waist as well?

The second hook is what keeps the chain flat against your back rather than swinging as you move — which matters more on a fuller piece like this one. It sits at the back like a dress fastening, and most people manage it in a few seconds once they have worn it once.

Can I wear it at the front instead?

Yes. Put it on the same way with the charms facing forward and they fall down the neckline. Two looks from one piece.

How is it different from the Marina Charm Back Body Chain?

Both carry the same coastal charms with pearls. This one sits fuller down the back and works beautifully over swimwear; Marina Charm is finer and suits a backless dress.

How should I wear my hair with a back chain?

Up or swept to one side, so the whole run of charms shows.

Are the pearls real?

No — they are faux pearls. We say so plainly, and they give you the look at a price that lets you wear them often.

How do you put it on?

My back chain is tangled. How do I fix it?

Unhook it first — that is the step that matters most. Then hang it up by the neck chain, from a hanger or a door hook, and let it hang freely. The weight of the chain does the work and the strands separate on their own. You can also put it on and let it untangle as it settles. Never pull the strands apart.

What size is it? Will it fit me?

It is free size and fits all body types, with extra chain already attached.

Can I swim in it?

Wear it beside the water rather than in it. Salt, chlorine and sunscreen all shorten the life of a plated finish.

Is it heavy?

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?
