The Blue Midnight is a two-piece kamarbandh (waist chain) set — glossy navy enamel droplets paired with small gold-tone discs. Gold-tone with navy enamel.
The Look
Navy is the only real colour in our waist chain range, and enamel gives it a depth and evenness that a stone cannot. Against cream, white or camel it reads beautifully, and it is the piece to reach for when everything else you own is gold. Wear both chains layered on the hip, or either one alone for something quieter.

Sizing and fit
Free size, and it fits all. Each chain measures at least 42 inches, which sits comfortably at the natural waist or lower on the hip. If you would like it longer, tell us before your order ships and we can extend it to about 52 inches. To choose where it sits, measure around the exact point on your body where you want it to rest.
How to put it on
Fasten each chain around your waist or hip and let the layers settle apart on their own. Put it on last, after clothes, perfume and skincare.
Care
- Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wear.
- Keep away from perfume, lotion, sunscreen, hairspray and water.
- Keep both chains in the box they came in — enamel keeps its gloss best when it is not knocking against other jewellery.
- Last thing on, first thing off.
Plated fashion jewellery may change finish over time with wear, storage, moisture and skin chemistry. This is normal rather than a fault.

Are the blue droplets stones or enamel?
Enamel — which is why the navy is so even and glossy. It gives a depth of colour that a set stone cannot.
How do I keep the enamel looking its best?
Keep it in the box it came in rather than loose with other jewellery, and wipe it with a dry cloth. Enamel holds beautifully when it is stored on its own.
What size is it? Will it fit me?

The Indian name for a waist chain — jewellery worn around the waist or the hip. Traditionally worn over a saree, and today worn just as often over jeans, a dress or swimwear.
Is it heavy?
The set weighs 17 gms, so each chain on its own is lighter — light enough for everyday wear.
Can I wear it over swimwear?
Yes, over a solid suit. Take it off before going into the water — chlorine, salt and sunscreen all shorten the life of a plated finish.
