Heart Cascade is a gold-tone body chain of linked hearts with crystal accents, built to be worn three ways — layered over a neckline, around the waist, or down the back. One piece, three placements, which is most of the reason to own it.

Where it sits

Over the neckline it falls in a cascade from the collarbone. At the waist it sits at the natural waist or lower on the hip, depending on where you position it. Worn backwards, the cascade runs down the spine and the fastening sits at the front under a neckline. Free size, with extra chain already attached so you can place it where you want it.

How to wear it

Front, as a layered necklace

Over a strapless dress, a deep-neck gown or a plain black top, where the neckline is open enough for the cascade to read properly.

At the waist

Over a saree, a lehenga skirt, or a crop top with high-waist trousers. This is the version that works inside traditional dressing without competing with it.

Down the back

Turn it round for a backless gown or a deep-back saree blouse. Keep earrings small and skip a neckpiece — the back is carrying the look.

Alloy-based fashion jewellery with a protective plating, set with crystals, in a gold-tone finish. We have not had skin-reaction complaints on this range. If you have sensitive skin, wear it for a short period first.

Plated fashion jewellery changes finish over time with wear, storage, moisture and skin chemistry — that is normal rather than a fault. Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wear. Keep away from perfume, hairspray, lotion and water: last thing on, first thing off. Store it flat and on its own so the chains cannot tangle.

Can this really be worn three ways?

Yes. It is designed to be repositioned rather than adapted — the same piece over the neckline, at the waist, or turned round and worn down the back. Nothing needs to be detached or reassembled.

What size is it? Will it fit me?

Free size. Extra chain is already attached, so the question is where you want it to sit rather than what size you are. If you want it longer, tell us before it ships and we can extend it to around 52 inches.

How do I put it on?

Open the fastening, position the piece where you want it, then let the chains fall naturally before closing it. Never pull the strands into place once it is fastened.

Will it stay in place when I move?

Worn at the waist it will settle and move slightly as you walk, which is how a waist chain is meant to behave. Worn over the neckline it stays where you place it.

Can I wear it with a saree?

Yes — over the pleats at the waist is the strongest way to wear it with Indian dressing, and it works with a lehenga skirt the same way.
