The Crystal Teardrop Body Chain is a chain with a sparkling teardrop centrepiece falling from the neckline. In gold-tone and silver-tone.

The Look

One teardrop, hanging where the eye lands. It moves as you do rather than sitting flat, which gives it a softness the fully-set pieces do not have — and at 15 gms it is light enough to wear somewhere ordinary. Wear it facing forward, or turn it round so the teardrop falls down your back.

Sizing and fit

This is a free size body chain suitable for all body types, with extra chain already attached.

How to put it on

Open both hooks — one on the neck chain, one on the waist chain.
Fasten the neck chain first, the same way you would a necklace.
Bring the waist chain around and fasten it behind you, with the teardrop centred at the front.
Let the chain settle rather than pulling it into position.

To wear it as a back chain, put it on the same way with the teardrop facing backwards. Put it on last, after clothes, perfume and skincare.

Care

Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wear.
Keep away from perfume, lotion, hairspray and water.
Keep it in the box it came in, so the teardrop is not knocked.
Last thing on, first thing off.

Not at all — it sits at the back like a dress fastening, and most people manage it in a few seconds once they have worn it once.

My body chain is tangled. How do I fix it?

Unhook it first — that is the step that matters most. Then hang it up by the neck chain, from a hanger or a door hook, and let it hang freely. The weight of the chain does the work and the strands separate on their own. You can also put it on and let it untangle as it settles. Never pull the strands apart.

What size is it? Will it fit me?

It is free size and fits all body types, with extra chain already attached.

How is it different from the Solitaire Drape Body Chain?

Both are single-stone pieces at a similar weight. The Solitaire has a round stone set into the chain; this one has a hanging teardrop, so it moves rather than sitting flat.

Can I wear it every day?

Yes — at 15 gms with a single stone, it is one of the easier pieces to wear under an open shirt or a blazer on an ordinary day.

What neckline does it work with?

A plunge or a deep V, so the teardrop has an opening to hang inside.

Is it heavy?

It weighs 15 gms — light enough to wear through a full day without noticing it.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

It is alloy-based fashion jewellery and suits most skin types. We have not had skin-reaction complaints on this range. If you have sensitive skin, wear it for a short period first.
