The Crystal Slit Thigh Chain is a layered leg chain with cascading crystal strands that fall along the outside of the thigh. In gold-tone and white.

The Look

This is the one made for a slit dress. The strands appear and disappear as you walk, catching the light each time, which is exactly the effect a slit is asking for. At 15 gms it is one of the lightest pieces we make, so it stays comfortable right through an evening.

How to style it

Slit evening dress or gown — position the strands along the line of the opening so they move with it as you walk.
Short hem or a mini — worn a little higher on the thigh so the full drape shows.
Swimwear and a sarong — the crystals catch the sun against a plain suit.
Sheer overlay or a cover-up — the strands read softly through the fabric.

Sizing and fit

Free size, and it fits all. The elastic band measures about 13 inches unstretched and stretches to about 24 inches, so it adjusts comfortably to your leg. Just decide how high you would like it to sit.

How to put it on

Step into it and slide it up your leg to where you want it to sit. Put it on last, after clothes, perfume and skincare.

Care

Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wear.
Keep away from perfume, lotion, hairspray and water.
Keep it in the box it came in, so the strands stay separate.
Last thing on, first thing off.

Where does a thigh chain sit?

High on the upper thigh, above the knee. How high is entirely your choice — higher shows more of the strands, lower sits softer and moves more as you walk.

How do I wear it with a slit dress?

Wear it on the leg the slit opens on, and position the strands so they fall along the line of the opening rather than across it. They then move with the slit as you walk.

Does it stay in place?

Yes. The elastic band holds it comfortably through an evening.

Take it off first. Chlorine, salt and sunscreen all shorten the life of the plating.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

It is alloy-based fashion jewellery and suits most skin types. We have not had skin-reaction complaints on this range. If you have sensitive skin, wear it for a short period first.
