The Coastal Glow Body Chain is a two-piece set — a body chain worn from the neck to the waist, and a separate waist chain to wear with it. In gold-tone and silver-tone.

The Look

Two pieces, three ways to wear them. Together they run from the neckline all the way down to the hip, which is the full effect and the reason to choose this over a single chain. Worn apart, the body chain works on its own over a bikini or a crop top, and the waist chain works on its own over jeans or a skirt. One purchase, three outfits.

Sizing and fit

Both pieces are free size and suitable for all body types, with extra chain already attached.

How to put it on

Put the body chain on first. Open both hooks, fasten the neck chain like a necklace, then bring the waist chain around and fasten it behind you.
Then fasten the separate waist chain around your waist or hip, wherever you want it to sit.
Let both settle on their own rather than arranging them by hand.

To wear the body chain as a back chain, put it on the same way with the beads facing backwards. Put both on last, after clothes, perfume and skincare.

Care

Wipe with a soft dry cloth after wear.
Keep away from perfume, lotion, sunscreen, hairspray and water.
Keep both pieces in the box they came in, and separate from each other so they cannot tangle together.
Last thing on, first thing off — after sunscreen has fully dried.

Plated fashion jewellery may change finish over time with wear, storage, moisture and skin chemistry. This is normal rather than a fault.

Is this one piece or two?

Two. You get a body chain and a separate waist chain, so you can wear them together for the full run from neck to hip, or either one on its own.

Yes, and that is most of the value. The body chain works alone over a bikini or a plunging dress; the waist chain works alone over jeans or a skirt.

How do I put both on?

Body chain first — open both hooks, fasten the neck chain like a necklace, then bring the waist chain around and fasten it behind you. Then fasten the separate waist chain wherever you want it to sit.

Is the waist hook difficult to fasten on my own?

Not at all — it sits at the back like a dress fastening, and most people manage it in a few seconds once they have worn it once.

Can the body chain be worn as a back chain?

Yes. Put it on the same way with the beads facing backwards and it falls down your spine instead.

My chain is tangled. How do I fix it?

Unhook it first — that is the step that matters most. Then hang it up by the neck chain, from a hanger or a door hook, and let it hang freely. The weight of the chain does the work and the strands separate on their own. Keep the two pieces stored separately and it will not happen often.

What size is it? Will it fit me?

Both pieces are free size and fit all body types, with extra chain already attached.

Can I wear it over swimwear?

Yes — it is one of the best beach sets we make. Take it off before going into the water; salt, chlorine and sunscreen all shorten the life of a plated finish.

Is it a good gift?

One of the better ones. A set gives three ways to wear it rather than one, and free size removes the fit question entirely.

Is it heavy?

The set weighs 15 gms in total, so each piece on its own is lighter still — light enough to forget you are wearing it.

Is it suitable for sensitive skin?

It is alloy-based fashion jewellery and suits most skin types. We have not had skin-reaction complaints on this range. If you have sensitive skin, wear it for a short period first.
